How it's measured
Sites and outcomes
A plant counts when the parser records a bomb plant on a recognised A or B site with players alive on both teams and a valid round result. Site records always cover the full match. Only T can plant, so the side lens never changes them.
A solid C4 means the planting team won that round. A hollow one means the defenders won it. Conversion is T wins divided by plants. The defenders’ figure is plants minus T wins, and it appears only when those counts are consistent. It is not a measured retake-attempt rate. More plants on a site does not by itself mean a weaker defence.
A start is the game’s begin-plant or begin-defuse event, and every one counts. A player who stops and starts again has two starts, and a fake defuse is a start. The demo does not say why a start stopped. Planted and defused count every completed plant and defuse, including any the site records leave out. Starts are not attempts, so there is no success rate. Some demos omit these events. Those matches, and matches parsed before starts were recorded, have no starts chapter.
Radar pins mark each bombsite’s general location, and their size follows both teams’ plants there. They are not plant positions, because this snapshot has no bomb coordinates, paths or timestamps.
When a line is written
The opening line uses the first of four checks that applies. A site where every plant won, or every plant lost, needs at least 3 plants. A conversion gap of 25 points or more needs at least 4 plants per team. One site taking 70% or more of all plants needs at least 6 plants. One team putting 70% or more of its plants on one site needs at least 5 plants from that team. If none applies, the line states the split.
The fights line needs at least 3 rounds per team in a phase and a difference that shows at two decimals. It compares kill counts head to head only on Both sides, where both teams share the same planted rounds. On T or CT it compares kills per round.
A planter line needs at least 3 plants and no tie for the most.
A starts line names the team with the most unfinished plant or defuse starts. It needs at least 3 and no tie.
What to work on needs three or more planted rounds. Rounds a team won after its own plant count as work under 60% and as a strength from two thirds. Rounds it won after the opponent planted count as a strength from half. They count as work only under a quarter, from four or more, because defenders lose most planted rounds. Its practice ideas are common suggestions, not a diagnosis.
Plant phases
Before the plant is combat in planted rounds up to the plant tick. After the plant runs from the plant to round end. A player counts after the plant only if they were alive at the plant. No plant covers rounds without a plant event or a reliable plant tick. This snapshot cannot tell those two cases apart.
Both sides covers every round. T side shows each team attacking, before and after its own plants. CT side shows each team defending plants against it. Planted-round wins repeat before and after the plant because they are the same rounds.
Metrics
Kills per round divides kills by the phase’s rounds, with no adjustment for how long the phase lasted. ADR is health-capped enemy damage per round in the phase. Utility damage is enemy HE and fire damage. Phase openers are the first opponent kill inside a phase, not proof of a site entry. Clutches belong to the phase where the opportunity began. At plant is the share of a player’s planted rounds where they were alive at the plant. It does not measure survival to round end. K/D shows ∞ for a player with kills and no deaths.
Team rows use the canonical team totals, not sums of player rows. Team ADR is the team’s damage per team round. A — means the value is unavailable or has no denominator. A 0 is a measured zero. Demos parsed before a metric existed show —.
The source is the parser’s plant-round analysis in this match’s Site Control snapshot. That analysis has no exact round, event or replay destination, so evidence links open filtered Heatmap views.
